What happens when you give everyday people just one shot, literally, to watch a wildly viral recipe video, and then ask them to recreate it from memory?

That’s the premise of Top Down Challenge, a high-energy competition series that brought the internet’s most shareable food hacks to life, and chaos. Inspired by the viral, top-down hands-only recipe videos from mega food pages on Facebook, this series flipped the script by testing real people’s ability to remember and recreate those visual recipes under pressure.

I served as showrunner and lead producer, developing the creative format and building a streamlined production system that allowed us to shoot 3+ episodes per day, delivering a total of 40+ episodes for YouTube and OTT distribution.

My Role

  • Developed and refined the show format from concept to execution

  • Directed gameplay, casting, visual design, and tone to align with the brand’s voice and content culture

  • Built production workflows to support high-volume output on a lean crew

  • Oversaw episode planning, creative direction, and post-production pipeline
